Former White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney reflects on US President Donald Trump’s “raucous” address to the Cabinet, marking his first since taking office.
“Folks who might not like him or might not like some of his policies, it is, to a lot of folks, a refreshing change to have a politician during a campaign I’m going to do x and y and z and then go into office and immediately start doing x and y and z,” Mr Mulvaney said.
“I thought it ended up being a lot calmer than I thought it was. At the start, things were fairly raucous … but as the night went on, it is sort of like people ran out of gas.”
