Donald Trump has just temporarily suspended US aid to Ukraine. The announcement has shaken Western leaders and put the Ukrainian president's back against the wall.

So much so that Volodymyr Zelensky has been forced to "put things right", especially after the altercation in the Oval Office and his meeting with the American President, which didn't go ‘as planned’.

In order not to alienate Donald Trump, and to be able to "work under his leadership" , Zelensky is prepared to put as much as possible on the table. In particular, he says he's prepared to sign the agreement on minerals that Washington is so keen on, according to 20 Minutes . While the Ukrainian leader is accused by Russia and the United States of not wanting peace, he has just proposed " a truce in the air - a ban on missiles, long-range drones and bombs on civilian infrastructure, particularly energy infrastructure", as well as "an immediate truce at sea, if Russia does the same".

Will the American President be convinced?
