European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has laid out a European rearmament plan ahead of a March 6 summit on defense and Ukraine.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Tuesday presented a plan to bolster Europe's defence industry and increase military capabilities.
She said the plan to "rearm Europe could mobilize close to €800 billion ($841.4 billion) for a safe and resilient Europe."
Von der Leyen stressed the need to boost Europe's defense capabilities following the London summit where European leaders gathered for Ukraine talks.
